Are these wires too long to carry power to the ramps board?

They were at length 3 ft is what it took to get to the power supply's but I moved them up to the printer .........still no power to bed or nozzle new board 2560 working fine maybe its in the firmware maybe the power supply not putting out 12 volts in the build tutorial I don't see anyone having this issue .I followed  the build as per but as I've noticed in a lot of tutorials things get glossed over important things in most cases why? Who can say .this thing is getting ready to get scratched for the drone that has been built around it yes and a saucer at that! Almost completed around this 3 d printer .I'm dumb but I ain't that dumb ! This thing is just eating up too much time with absolutely no result I think I'm going to just move on with everything else  till I can get some boots on the ground that can look at this thing and tell me what I'm doing wrong ...it ain't easy being cheesy .?
