I have just received word that one of our forum members has passed away.

Brian Bisaillon has only been a member for a short time, so many of you have not had the pleasure of interacting with him. His username was BrianTech2020.

He had written me a wonderfully detailed membership application when he joined us, describing how he has worked with technology for most of his life and now has found a love for hobby electronics, such as the sort we all enjoy here. He also battled with chronic liver disease and was awaiting a suitable donor for a third transplant.

Sadly I received an email from his mother this morning asking me to cancel his account, as he has passed away.

Before removing the account, I preserved his post on the "Introduce Yourself" thread, as it gives a great insight as to the type of person he was.

For those of you who wish to honor Brian, donations can be made in his name to the Toronto General and Western Foundation or to the PSC Partners Seeking a Cure foundation.

I'm sure that all of you will join me in expressing deepest condolences to Brian's family at this time.

Bill
