... so I thought it a good opportunity to take a break from the analog electronics and do something I'm actually good at - the classic LED "Hello World" at 5Hz, lol. Nice square waveform, yay.

Livin' La Vida Loca eh 🙂

@will Heh. Cannot figure out how to turn off the display of the generated waveform from the test output (at the top), though. Grr. Have pressed every conceivable combination of buttons to no avail. Website/Docs no help that I can discern *broken english* ... I'll poke and google some more, and maybe email the manufacturer, if all else fails. Life is like a bag of Bertie Bott's Any Flavoured Beans, lol.

Watch out for the earwax 🙂

@will Alas!

I know Dumbledore had all manner of mystic training and magical abilities, but I can't help wondering how he knew what earwax tasted like (before Bertie's confectionary).

@will I suppose to achieve wisdom, you have to try everything once. 😉

What do you mean "turn off"?
I think he means other than unplugging the 9V supply 🙂

@yurkshirelad Well, the top of the frame in every vid and product shot shows a bar whereby you can navigate backwards and forwards in the sample buffer, but I've got text showing 10 KHz, 50% duty cycle, and I can modify the duty cycle which changes the test output waveform. I can't seem to get that to flip back to the default mode. It will, of course, be simple once discovered.

By "default mode" do you mean just graphics and no stats section ?
I think that's just holding down the OK button for a "long press".

@will No, that bit works fine. It's the header text across the top. Will grab a pic.

OK, I see what you mean, but mine has never had anything else since I started it up. It does change to microscopic text sometimes when I press one of the function buttons, but that's all I've noticed on it.
