@tfmccarthy As you know I am autistic so sometimes my language is too direct for neurotypical folks.
I am personally very familiar with the social difficulties those on the autism spectrum face every day. Unfortunately there is very little understanding or tolerance by neurotypical people who really don't appreciate or care about the difficulty someone on the autistic spectrum has with neurotypical social discourse and mistakenly think they are deliberately being rude or offensive.
Anyone who can be bothered might google "Love on the Spectrum".
@robotbuilder Thank you for being aware. The internet makes it much worse since there are no visual clues like facial expressions and body language. Another issue I suffer from a lot is I often use the wrong technical words. In person with people who know me automatic adjustments are made often without them even being that aware.
I often speak with a certain fellow here who is very knowledgeable but from behind the keyboard he is not able to make that translation. Of course the problem is mine, he is not to be faulted for not being able to translate.

Yeah, you pressed my buttons.
I'll get over it.

@tfmccarthy Do we need to de-bounce those buttons? Or just wait another 20 days and none of these problems will matter anymore.
I really fear for my US friends and acquaintances especially the brown skinned ones. Remember we have a lot of vacant land here in Canada, but bring a winter tent because we have no where to live and if you do find something it will cost a minimum of $2,500 / month and rising. One thing I need to point out, our right wing party the CPC is likely going to be elected this spring to a record majority. The good news is so far they are still more like your Democrats than your GOP, but watch out for a move to a Theocracy.

😀 That's funny, Ron! Let's leave my buttons alone, though. It's taken my years to tune them to just the right "hair trigger" touch. And 20 days is much too long. I'll just sit down quietly and curse for 20 minutes to get it out of my system. Well, maybe an hour. Ok, a day, but no more.
I really fear for my US friends and acquaintances...
We're a bit on edge, aren't we? But we probably shouldn't pick at this.
Remember we have a lot of vacant land here in Canada,..
Again, we're back in Canada! And I'll say you have "a lot of vacant land". You got half the continent!
OK, I've got to get back to my cursing...
