@microhead You could ask Bill (@dronebot-workshop), but I see nothing in the sketch that would prevent any esp32 from working as long as it had WiFi and IIRC ALL esp32's have WiFi. Many of us here also use a resource known as the The NERDS. If you look under the esp32 section you will see they recommend the brand known as DOIT. It's nothing special and there are probably dozens of brands that are identical or close enough. You could use any board that has WiFi, there are a lot of ESP boards, from ESP01, ESP07, ESP12, ESP8266, and ESP32 family, plus lot's of competing boards and of course the new RaspberryPi PICOW.
