Integrating ESP32 devices into Home Assistant using ESPHome.  Many specific topics and issues.  I've spent hours trying to include a Heltec dev kit v3 and am getting nowhere except frustrated.  A few sub-topics:

The basic YAML file installs and it shows online, but I "get Hmmm... can't reach this page" in the browser.  The device is named heltec2 with an assigned address of 192.168.1.125.  I get this error whether is use heltec2.local or the IP address in the browser URL box.

Setting a static IP in the YAML file issues an error.

Need to include my own code (written in Arduino IDE) on the device and return values (variables) to Home Assistant.

You do such a great job in presenting accurate details.  I'd love to see a series on Home Assistant and ESPHome.
