I realize the ESP32 has been out for a little while now, but I'm still very new to this hobby and playing catch up. There is just SO MUCH CONTENT on the ESP8266 that I find it hard to move from that platform since right now I rely on the help of others to make my projects work HAHAHA! I did pick up an ESP32 to start playing around and wanted to start a thread on what people have been doing with the chip and how it has made their projects better then what they could have done with the 8266. Certainly if you want to pull in Bluetooth to your project, that's a easy win. Have you played around with the second core? How about the low power mode? I'd love to learn more about low power mode so I can create projects that can run on a battery for a very long time and log data.

I like that it has more GPIO's, especially more analog. I also like that it has Bluetooth.

This reminds me, I need to update an HTTPIO library I have for the ESP to support it.

Andreas Spiess has done a lot of low power videos lately. I'm in the same boat you are- trying to determine if making the jump over to ESP32 is required just yet.
