Hello to all dronebot Workshop Members!

I do not purport to be an expert in programming NOR scripting languages (but I do have skills in many of these areas (as do a few other members here which is absolutely great, and I fully welcome their participation), in any of VBScript, Visual Basic, Java, Javascript, DOS Batch Files, C & C++ .NET, tkinter, etc...

As a long time member here, I see that many people struggle with programming languages! Now... that's OK, because we all have to start somewhere, and we all struggle in the beginning - I was no different!!

I'm more than happy to start a topic for people who wish to learn how to program, in any language!

If you are interested to learn how to code, learn how libraries work, and to create your own custom libraries etc... then please share your thoughts, and I will start a topic which I think will be of great benefit and interest to all.

Cheers.

Essentially I know how to program, it is more a case of the Babel Tower of computer languages where all the boffins want to make up their own language.  Some catch on others don't. Each has it's strengths and weaknesses. Umpteen ways of saying the same thing.

Nice to know there is someone here ready to help with coding issues.

As for the rest of the thread I suggest you just let it go,  life is too short.

Getting offended by something on the internet/facebook/forums is like seeing dog droppings on the footpath and choosing to step in it rather than walking around it.

Indeed, there are many ways to program the same thing.  My post was mostly to appeal to those who have some trouble understanding and writing programs, and I do see a lot of people who struggle in that sense.

Thank's and I agree... life is too short to engage in such threads.

Cheers.
