I'm building a capacitive touch sensor keyer for CW ( morse code ). I found the Arduino code in a Arduino Projects for Amateur Radio book. I will be using an Attiny85 for the controller and capacitive touch pads for the keys . I'm having an issue get the code to compile . Has anyone built this project before , if so did you have any issues with the code ? Any insight would be helpful . Thanks Gee

All is well, after fixing a few spelling mistakes and adding a few semicolons I was able to get the code to compile . I've downloaded the code to my Attiny85 but have not finished with the hardware . There may be a few bugs to work out . I will post my results when it's finished and tested . If anyone wants the code let me know and I will post it .  Gee

@gee post it. You got me curious about the ham radio area here. I'm new at this, been 40 years since I wrote code

@bits2bots I've been wanting to learn CW for a while now , what better way to practice than on a DIY keyer.

Yes indeed. Back in myyyy day (spoken in old geezerese), I built The Micro TO Keyer. This can still be found on the internet and was originally published in the ARRL Handbook. Very cool circuit using RTL chips. Very early logic devices, probably what was used in the Lunar Lander back in the day. I was young and so quickly got my speed to 60wpm. If I bought the keyer I never would have attained this. One of my first projects really made l me learn.

@bits2bots That's interesting , I just found the schematic for the Micro TO Keyer . Which version did you build the 1967 or the 1975 MKll . I see the the MKll uses logic chips you can still purchase today . Are you still active on the radio these days ? Gee
