Please do a class on shift registers? It is very common to run out of pins on Arduino UNO and shift registers seem to be the best solution using 74HC595 and the like.

I like that idea! I think I can accept this one, but I'll keep it open for a few more days in case others would like to comment.

I think a DroneBot take on shift registers would be a great idea.

I support videos on both 74HC595 and 74HC165 shift registers. There may be also the need to cover CD4051 multiplexers and CD4017 counter dividers too!
