Yes it does have that option I've been using it I didn't know if I needed win zip instead .
Well I don't know I'm stumped stupefied sad for all the tutorials showing people hunkidoraly downloading and extracting stuff and its all coming up roses reality has a different angle and down here in so flaΒ thereΒ just isn't any place you can walk in and ask a question unless its about some office junk .so I guess I'm on hold until I gain more knowledge .???
Were you not able to get the zip file extracted, so that all the tabs appear in the Arduino IDE ?
Eric
No it won't do it for some reason .
No it won't do it for some reason .
Can you be more specific?
Please understand, that for anyone to be able to help you solve your problem, you need to also help them by providing as much information as possible to the questions they have asked of you.
Do you mean that you are NOT able to extract the files with your zip utility? (i.e: - Right Click -> Extract Here/To, etc...?)Β ...or do you mean you CAN extract the files with your zip utility, but for some reason you're unable to then open all the .ino related project files in the Arduino IDE? ... Or, do you mean that you CAN open JUST the .ino project file in the Arduino IDE, but no other tabs are showing for the remaining project files?
Do you have the latest Arduino IDE?
Did you make sure that the correct board and programmer is selected in the IDE?
If none of the above, then what exactly do you mean by your comment?
Did you receive an error message for any one of the actions you took?
If so, what were the error message(s)?
Unless you are able to get past this first step, there is no use going any further.

No problem with any of that there just isn't any result at the printer or the separate set of boards I haveΒ no errors everything uploads but no result no bed no nozzle no nothing all the specs for each individual part has been put in to configuration. H all libraries are in for marlin main configuration ? I'm sure its a matter of getting the config correct but how?Β So I'm still attempting it ?
With any luck at all I'll have a video up on YouTube of this thing printing .
You didn't really answer my questions, so I'm confused by your response reply to ZeFerby, who basically asked you the same thing:
No it won't do it for some reason
...and now you say you have no problem with that part?
You also say that you're not sure about your configuration.h, but you were previously asked to provide it, so it could be reviewed for you?
I notice you also started another thread for the same topic, which makes it even harder for people to follow your issue and try to help you.
Please make a checklist, and tick of each step along the way π
Β
I have to say that was an extremely hard problem to fix I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's help ??
So you got it working then?
Please do let us know after all this time what you did to fix it, so others can learn from any mistakes you may have made.
Cheers!

The real problem was in the pin configuration for the LCD the rep rap full graphic smart controller just for everyone's information. They aren't always a dead ringer to plug and play I went through every pin configuration their is in u8glib and github !..no result ! Any how for the 128Β 64 LCD
cs =pin 16. Mosi=pin17. Sck=pin23 change to these in pins ramps.h under rep rap full graphic LCDΒ that is how it got done .that was the only problem I was really having...... So far oh and getting marlin to open the right way it wasn't the set up .I updated windows and downloaded marlin but it wouldn't open the same way anymore .thus another rabbit hole .but I got to know marlin a lot better.??
